Last Friday, Constantin Denis, member of our sales team, took part in a white collar boxing charity event in support of Children with Cancer UK at the Camden Centre venue in London.
In the run-up to the event, Ovation Incentives and Constantin successfully fundraised more than £1,000 with ticket sales and donations. The whole night raised an incredible £28,654, all of which will go to the cancer charity.
After two months of training and practice, the forty amateur boxers of all levels are weighed and paired up ahead of the fight. Each bout lasted for three rounds and was the ultimate test of stamina and focus in front of hundreds of attendees.
Our salesperson’s fight was intense from start to finish with a lot of contact and both fighters applying pressure on each other. After winning the decisive third round, the Judges announced Constantin as the winner taking home the prized match medal.
The overall level of quality of the matches was outstanding, especially knowing that some of the fighters had never boxed before. We hope to see our Champion in next year’s event!
