Eurostar operate a high-speed passenger rail service connecting London with Paris and Brussels

Situation

Eurostar wanted to improve the customer service across UK, France and Belgium, whilst recognising and rewarding employees who have consistently provided outstanding customer service.  A key requirement was the ability for staff to redeem rewards in any country since employees often travelled. The rewards also had to be personalised and varied to engage, and motivate employees.

Ovation Incentives Solution

Ovation Incentives provided an EMLOYEE REWARDS AND RECOGNITION platform which could operate concurrently in all three countries, offering an extensive gift voucher rewards choice.  A variety of local high street and e-brands from each country was offered to employees. Reward values are displayed in Euros and Pounds, which empowered the employee to choose rewards from any country as their travel plans dictated. This offered employee even more choice.  A eurostar branded rewards website was also created which is utilised as an effective communication tool to recognise winners, display customer feedback, and to communicate any important information.  By implementing a content management system Eurostar were also able to change the content and publish instantly and as often as they wanted, ensuring the programme was kept fresh and exciting.
