Synovate, the market research arm of Aegis Group plc, generates insights to help clients drive competitive brand, product and customer experience strategies. With offices in over 60 countries, their approach combines best in class global research capabilities with personalised service, local knowledge and the flexibility to create teams and processes that meet clients' specific requirements.

Situation
Synovate run groups of panel members on behalf of their clients. These panels had historically been awarded cash for completing a set amount of research time to achieve their clients goals. This was extremely administration heavy, as awards are given in $5, $10, $15, $20 and $25 and in the US alone over 169,000 individual payments were made. To improve the service and offering moving forward, Synovate wanted one solution that could be used within the US, Canada, France and the UK.

Ovation Incentives Solution
Ovation worked with Synovate Consumer to provide an on-lineMARKET RESEARCH REWARDS platform that gave participants choice, while fully branded Synovate. When participants are due an award, they are emailed with a unique award code in their local currency and language, which allows them to redeem from hundreds of vouchers. The awards can be saved for a later date or redeemed immediately. The system has removed the need for thousands of cash payments being made to individuals, but with automatic file transfers in place the process massively reduced the administration requirements involved.
