iprism Underwriting Agency Limited (iprism) runs an online comparison service platform for SME business insurance enabling brokers to provide the most suitable insurance policy to their customers from a comprehensive range of insurance providers. Its solution allows brokers to provide competitive quotes from leading UK commercial insurers swiftly and efficiently 24/7 via its online portal.

The Challenge

Due to a highly competitive market for insurance comparison websites, iprism wanted to ensure that brokers using its platform were incentivised to continue doing so through an engaging platform. A points-based rewards programme, PRISM points, existed but was outdated and did not provide brokers with an ongoing summary of sales rewarded. With the new platform iprism aimed to increase sales and loyalty from brokers whilst creating greater visibility of the PRISM points programme.

The Solution

Ovation offered an improvement to iprism’s existing rewards programme by developing an online account based platform to incentivise brokers for qualifying quotes and new business generated. The new system enabled iprism to use a built-in communication suite to communicate directly to its agents with targeted material.

Implementation

The all new PRISM Points platform could be accessed via Single Sign On (SSO) providing users with a seamless experience directly from iprism’s portal. Once a broker logs in they could easily access the rewards section of multiple high street retail vouchers with a single click. Historical data from the previous Iprism rewards programme was also transferred to the new sales platform so that brokers could still view historic performance.

Results

  • Increase of 36% new users within 10 months
  • Average of 12 logins per user throughout the programme
  • 523% increase in reward value issued within 11 months
